Sunday, March 28, 2010Up Past My BedtimeIt's nearly 1:00AM and I can't sleep. With the exception of the television show, Cheaters, there is nothing good happening at this hour of the morning. Ugh, this is so frustrating. My husband and my dog are both snoring. Yet, the baby has decided to take up kick boxing. I'm jealous of everyone in dreamland right now. Twiddling thumbs... Wednesday, March 24, 2010Quality TimeLast week, I had the pleasure of going up to San Francisco to visit with my grandparents. I honestly think the weather was the most beautiful and most enjoyable that I can remember. It was so nice to spend some quality time with them - just like when I was a kid. Seems that some of the simplest of pleasures are the most treasured these days. We had the opportunity to have leisurely lunches and enjoy each other's company; it was great! And enjoy the view! I even got to spend a day visiting with the cutest little girls in the world! It was such a great week and I'm so thankful that I got to go. The next time I'll see these happy faces (in person), I will be a new mom! Thursday, March 04, 201019-Week Ultrasound Pics! This first one is of the baby from the side. You can distinctly see the features of the face (profile); cute nose and daddy's chin. This second one is more striking. You can really see the baby's eyes, nose, and hemispheres of the brain. It also looks like the baby is "waving" at us with his/her left hand! Getting these pictures was no easy feat - we definitely have an active little one. Now we just can't wait to meet him/her!!!
